We have experienced or have planned a utility outage on the following system(s):

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: Power Outage due to putting power loads of Kautz Road Substation.

  • LOCATION : Areas affected will be CUB, Wilson Hall, Minos, LarTf, Science & Education Bldg., MinibooNe from 7:00 to 7:15 - CDF & D0 from 7:30 to 7:40 - Ind. bldg. Areas from 8:15 to 8:30 - Feynman Computing Center 1st feed from 8:45 to 8:46 the generator will pick up - Transfer Gallery, Linac, Feynman Computing Center 2nd & 3rd feeds from 9:30 to 9:45 - Booster from 10:15 to 10:25 - FDR36 & 37 (all Proton & SeaQuest) from 11:00 to 11:15 - Grid Computing Center from 13:00 to 13:01 - Sites 38, 39 & 29 areas from 13:30 to 13:35 - All Meson areas (including MW9, Mp9, MCC etc) from 14:00 to 14:15 - NS2, MS4 & Casey's Pond from 14:30 to 14:40 and MC1, Muon Campus and Pbar from 15:00 to 15:15.

    SCHEDULE: Work is scheduled to beginning on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 starting at 7:00 a.m. and completed at 15:30 (3:30 p.m.) on Tuesday November 4, 2014. The outages will be "rolling" in that outage duration is expected to be 15 minutes in length, but the exact time of outage will vary across the site.

    Contact building manager for outage accommodation services such as relocation, emergency power, emergency restroom facilities, etc.
